Fuse ODG was on the phone in an interview with Akosua Hanson, presenter of the program YLounge on Accra based radio station Yfm, mainly about his newly released single “Boa Me” ft Ed Sheeran and Mugeez.

In the quite brief interview, Fuse ODG (real name Nana Richard Abiona) disclosed his friendship with Ed Sheeran, how he invited him to Ghana and took him to local places so Ed could understand the Ghanaian culture, familiarize himself with the mother land vibe and it helped inspire the English singer/songwriter a lot. “Boa Me” is the current single from the camp of the 3 Beat record artiste, where Ed Sheeran is heard singing in Twi, the widely spoken local language in Ghana.

He also told the presenter the video for the song has already been shot while Ed Sheeran was in the country with him and in response to a question from Akosua about the feedback to the song in London, Fuse said ” Yo the feedback is crazy, it’s already entered the chart in the UK, this is like one of the quickest, an afrobeat song has entered the chart, it’s already in the iTunes chart, it’s already being played on main radio stations, like you see all the radio stations gathers the song list and you see all these English artistes and then you see “boa me”…….. laughs, it just makes me smile to see that, English titles of all these English artistes, and then you see Fuse ODG, Ed Sheeran & Mugeez “Boa Me”you know, it’s a beautiful moment for Africa, beautiful moment for Ghana”
